Letters Matter.

Isolation is central to the persistence of domestic violence, sexual violence and incarceration. Writing letters helps dismantle this isolation. Time & time again, incarcerated survivors have stated how important letters are to them. It helps them feel heard, understood, and respected as human beings. The letters tell of people who support them, although it may seem as if the system is built to work against them
